BBHORT Mid-Term Review Meeting

The BBHORT project's mid-term review meeting was hosted at the Università degli Studi di Sassari, bringing together partners for a comprehensive update on progress and future directions. The agenda featured detailed presentations on key research areas, including the evaluation of biostimulant and biopesticide interactions for tomato pest defense, host-pathogen dynamics involving Beauveria bassiana (Maria Florencia Gil e Luca Ruiu), advancements in organic tomato production (Christophe El Nakhel), and new insights into the metabolic responses of tomatoes to treatments (Rosalinda Nicastro e Giovanna Marta Fusco). The meeting also covered overall project coordination and work package progress, facilitating robust discussion and strategic planning among all participants.

Second project meeting

The consortium held the second project meeting to review the progress made. The meeting, held online, brought together the partners to present updates from the six work packages, share preliminary results, and discuss upcoming activities. The discussion highlighted the successful implementation of planned activities and field experimentation. Particular focus was given to the first outcomes of treatments involving biostimulants and biopesticides. Communication, dissemination, and data management strategies were also reviewed and updated, confirming that the project is on track with its expected goals and milestones.

First Project Meeting

In a continuation of our journey, the meeting held six months after the start of the project served to verifying project's progress. Gathering momentum from previous discussions, the agenda delved into key accomplishments and challenges encountered thus far. Participants engaged in constructive dialogue, exchanging insights and strategizing for future endeavors.

Among the updates shared, one notable highlight was the clear progress of our experimental settings. This positive development reinforces the effectiveness of our methods and boosts our confidence in our mission to develop sustainable agricultural solutions.

Kick-off meeting

Embarking on a journey of innovation and collaboration, the kick-off meeting of the BBHORT project was an occasion where all the participants converged to set the stage for the upcoming research phase. Held on 22 November 2023, the meeting provided a platform for the team members to exchange ideas and align goals.
